Raymond's, Huntington, and the Cone
[ info ]
On the eastern side of Mount Washington, the shallow Ravine of Raymond Cataract is a notable feature, though in this photo its waterfall is hidden under snow. Raymond's is not as well known as its northern neighbor, Huntington Ravine, with its lower snow-filled bowl and its upper beetling crags, threaded with steep ice gullies. A snowy summit cone looms above both ravines.
