Print Ordering Options
Unless otherwise noted, prints are available in three widths (20″, 30″ and 40″), with the height dependent on the original image. The size listed in the drop down is an approximate image size. The matte will add approximately 3″ to all sides of the 20×16 and 30×20, therefore the approximate size of print and matte will be 26×22 and 36×26 respectively. The matte for the 40×30 will add approximately 4″ to all sides, therefore image and matte size will be approximately 48×38.
All photos are printed on Fuji crystal archive paper and come with an acid-free matte. Your have the choice of ordering the matted prints framed or unframed. Framed prints are dry mounted on Foam Core and placed in a wooden black frame (1″ in width as you look at the frame). Conservation glass is used in all sizes except when we are shipping 40″ width. If you want conservation glass in a 40″ wide print you will need to place a special order directly with the Observatory and make arrangements to pick up the prints at the Autumn Color Digital Imaging facility in Worcester, MA. We will only ship 40″ wide framed prints with plexi glass due to the vulnerability to breakage of glass 40″ wide during shipment. The pricing on conservation glass and plexi is the same. If you prefer plexi on widths of less than 40″ please see special order instructions.
For a limited time, all 20X16 prints are available in mattes signed by Brad Washburn.
Shipping Information
The cost of shipping within the continental United States is included in the prices quoted on the website. Prints are shipped from Autumn Color Digital Imaging in Worcester, MA within two weeks of order receipt via one of three commercial carriers (DHL, UPS or FedEx). You will receive a confirmation of your order the day it is placed and a confirmation of shipment the day it is shipped. Note that we cannot ship to PO Boxes. To ship outside the continental United States you will need to place a special order directly with the Observatory.
